There are lots of stories of the hamburger, to many that we do not know which is true. Now several people who claim to be the maker of the hamburgers. One story was that the first hamburger was served up at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. While others say the hamburger as such was invented in Hamburg, Germany but at the time, consisted of a piece of roast pork on a roll. Later German immigrants brought this idea to America.
The hamburger was made with a cooked patty of ground beef on a hard roll. Of course there are earlier references to hamburgers, but this might be where it hit the big time. Where the first burger was made, however, is the source of many arguments. Hamburgers are sandwiches made of a ground beef patty put inside a two slices of buns. They often have lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese also mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and relish. Some of the restaurant’s burgers have things unheard of like niacin, folic acid, and riboflavin. They even put like copper, zinc, and potassium in it. It doesn't sound like something that people might not want to eat.
